Fronted is a web development tool that aims to make the process of writing HTML and CSS an outstanding visual experience. No abstractions. No limitations.

My Role

As the creator of Fronted, I lead every aspect of the product, from its initial concept and user experience to interface design, feature planning, and development. It's a personal project where I combine my experience in design with a hands-on approach to building software.

The Challenge

Fronted started with a simple idea: what if I could combine the visual freedom of Framer with the powerful styling and structural control of Webflow? I wanted to build an editor that feels intuitive to designers while giving advanced users the precision and flexibility of writing code.

The Process

Building Fronted has been an ongoing cycle of product thinking, brainstorming, designing, and experimenting. Every feature involves exploring different approaches, solving complex UX challenges, and refining how everything works together. I use AI as a development partner to turn my designs and ideas into working functionality, allowing me to focus heavily on the product experience while continuously learning and iterating.

The Vision

My goal is to make Fronted a powerful visual development environment that bridges the gap between design and code. A tool that gives creators the speed of visual editing without sacrificing the flexibility, control, and ownership of traditional front-end development. Ultimately, I want Fronted to feel less like a website builder and more like a natural extension of how developers and designers think.
